A 45-strong contingent of organisations from across Manchester will represent the city at MIPIM - the annual real estate convention in Cannes this (8-11) March.
The size of the partnership - which is bigger than that at MIPIM 2010 earlier this year - is testament to the city's commitment to the development of the property sector and in continuing to showcase Manchester on an international stage.
Argent, the Co-operative Estates, Manchester Airport Developments, MediaCo and MIDAS are the key sponsors of the Manchester at MIPIM Partnership - the umbrella under which a collaboration of the city's private sector organisations, supported by the public sector, attend the world's most influential real estate event.
Commenting on the importance of MIPIM to the city, Chris Oglesby, chief executive of Bruntwood, said: "MIPIM brings together the key decision makers from the industry and provides an unrivalled opportunity to develop the relationships that are crucial to securing future business for the city."
Other partners include: Manchester City Council, Arup, BDP, Bluemantle Ltd, Bruntwood, Harrow Estates Plc, Harvest Housing, Ian Simpson Architects, Laing O Rourke, MBLA Architects & Urbanists and Stephenson Bell.
Associate members for 2011 include: 5plus Architects Ltd, Addleshaw Goddard, AECOM, AFL Achitects, Allied London, Ask, Barratt Electrical & Mechanical, Buro Happold, Cobbetts LLP, Davis Langdon, Denton Corker Marshall, EllisWilliams Architects, GMPTE, Habitat Contracts, Leach Rhodes Walker Architects, NCP, Nikal Ltd, Pannone LLP, Planit, Property Alliance, Rider Levett Bucknall, Savills, Shepherd Gilmour, The Carlyle Group, Fairhursts Design Group, Town Centre Securities, Turley Associates, Urban Splash and Willmott Dixon Construction Ltd.
